See Vision Beyond Eyesight
Learn how movement, sensory experience and interaction help babies and toddlers make sense of their visual world. Understand tracking, convergence, peripheral vision and crossing the midline — and how they all connect to swimming.
Movement & Development
Explore how rotation, early reflexes like the ATNR, the vestibular system and whole-body movement directly support visual development. You'll understand the 'why' behind every movement in the water.
Enhance Lessons Without Extra Work
Discover simple, practical ways to create rich visual and movement experiences within your existing lessons. No need to turn swimming into therapy — just smarter, more purposeful teaching that benefits every child.
About the Webinar
Swimming is so much more than learning strokes and water safety. Every reach, turn, rotation and moment of connection is an opportunity to support a child's developing brain. Aqua Vision is a practical webinar designed specifically for baby, toddler and preschool swimming teachers, aquatic professionals, and anyone passionate about early child development through movement and water. During this webinar, you'll explore vision as a developmental process — not just eyesight, but how children use their eyes to connect, communicate and explore. You'll discover how colour, visual anchors, faces and non-verbal communication play a crucial role in how babies and young children engage with the world. Most importantly, you'll leave with actionable strategies to weave these insights into your lessons naturally. Your students will develop stronger visual skills, better body awareness, and deeper confidence in the water — while you gain a whole new understanding of the profound impact you're already having. Ready to level up your teaching? Let's dive in.
About the Creators
Julie and Zara are passionate about helping swimming teachers understand that they're not just teaching water skills — they're supporting whole-child development. After years working with babies, toddlers and preschoolers in the water, we noticed how movement, sensory experience and visual connection were transforming the children we worked with. But many teachers didn't realise how profound this impact was. That's why we created Aqua Vision. We wanted to bridge the gap between aquatic practice and developmental science, giving teachers the knowledge and confidence to intentionally support visual development through swimming. Because when you understand how vision develops — and how water can accelerate that process — everything changes. This webinar is our way of sharing what we've learned, so you can feel more confident, teach more purposefully, and give every child in your class the gift of rich, meaningful movement experiences.
